Dr. Dillon Caines, DDS

Long before becoming a dentist, Dr. Caines had a front-row seat to the very human cost of losing your teeth. He saw it in his grandmother, holding back at bingo because she feared her dentures might fall out again. In a cousin who stopped dating, embarrassed by his smile. In his brother-in-law, who lost a front tooth to a hockey puck. And in his aunt, whose recurring battles with dental pain made something as simple as enjoying a meal difficult. These weren’t just dental problems. They affected confidence, connection, comfort, and the freedom to live without constantly thinking about your teeth. Those experiences shaped Dr. Caines and ultimately led him to dedicate his career to implant dentistry. Dr. Caines earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the New York University College of Dentistry, where his education included clinical rotations at Bellevue Hospital and Lincoln Hospital in New York City. Following dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at NYU Langone Health, where he received advanced training in implant dentistry and full-mouth rehabilitation. Wanting to take his understanding of implant dentistry even further, Dr. Caines pursued a multi-year Master of Oral Implantology degree at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. His implant education and research included advanced training with internationally recognized pioneers and experts in Frankfurt, Munich, and Vienna, with a deep focus on implant surgery, bone regeneration, and prosthetic rehabilitation. Today, Dr. Caines brings that education together with years of clinical experience to help patients replace missing and failing teeth and work toward something bigger than a new smile—the confidence and freedom to enjoy life without constantly thinking about their teeth. Dr. Caines enjoys getting to know each patient’s story, understanding what they hope to change, and serving as a guide in helping them achieve that vision. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, fishing, paddle sports, golf, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
