Dr. Mayank Kakkar

Dr. Mayank Kakkar is an internationally trained dentist who brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and advanced clinical training to his patients. He earned his dental degree from KLE University in India before moving to the United States in 2016. Upon arriving, he pursued a Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the University of Houston–Clear Lake, reflecting his commitment to leadership in healthcare. He furthered his clinical expertise by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the esteemed Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). Dr. Kakkar went on to complete a fellowship in Special Needs Dentistry at the URMC Complex Care Center, where he focused on providing quality dental care to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Dr. Kakkar has been actively involved in dental research and served as the Young Dental Professionals Chair at the American Academy of Developmental Medicine & Dentistry (AADMD), where he mentored aspiring dental researchers from underrepresented backgrounds. In recognition of his leadership and dedication, he was honored with the AADMD Future Leader Baton Award in 2021. With a strong passion for esthetic and functional dentistry, Dr. Kakkar offers comprehensive care, including advanced guided implant surgery and cosmetic dental procedures. He is committed to staying at the forefront of dental advancements by regularly attending continuing education courses and integrating the latest technologies and research into his practice. Outside of the office, Dr. Kakkar enjoys hiking and spending quality time with his wonderful wife and family.
